Vista - PC Metacritic User Score on MW2

Just wanted to share this. It's pretty crazy how PC gamers rated this game a 1.3 . Maybe it's because of the removal of dedicated servers, mods, leaning, the console and others. Maybe it was because it sucks. Maybe it was for fun.

Even with this though the game as we all know is selling very well.

im picking up my copy in the next few days.......IW dont really care about the PC gamers, its all about console revenue


i'll stick to cod4 for MP & just clock SP on cod6 & then sell it.

It's pretty crazy how they even thought of pulling a move like that. I'll most likely play it for the single player too since they dumbed down the multiplayer.

I was all hyped up for this, but when i found out there was no dedicated server i cancelled my pre-order.
I think i will wait for it to appear in the bargain basement, or appear very cheap on e-bay.
What a let down, Infinity Ward should be ashamed, treating PC gamers like this, after all, it was us who put them on the map in the first place.
They can stick their over priced game up their console.
Anyhoo, i feel better for that.

I was looking forward to buying this game to try and get back into multiplayer gaming. But it looks like I'll be doing neither...

It's even worse how other games like Rage are following in IW's footsteps

Unfortunately that seems to be the way things are going.

It seems they are following UBIsoft in the way they are not supporting MP play and porting their games from consoles to PC instead of the other way around.

I was also looking forward this game and as Campaign only Gamer, I may not be as burnt as some of you MP folks but, if I can't get a hold of a demo, I will be waiting for it to hit the 5 to 10 dollar mark on the bargain bin, which btw... it won't take long though.

On the other side of the token, this means I don't have to invest any monies in PC upgrades for a long time to come.

I am sure sad though, OF-DR was not what I expected either.

I guess I have to stat looking into a Wii and play golf/bowling/tennis with my daughter.

do not knock this game until you have tried it , i cancelled my preorder too then though a very complicated and boring series of events ended up getting a free copy posted through my letterbox at midnight on the day of release (dont ask )

the single player is the best i have ever played , COD 4 was a previous fav this is better.

The multiplayer is fantastic , i was VERY surprised at IW.net , it works very well and the friends/invite system is perfect for gaming with your mates , sometimes you will encounter a laggy game and sometimes VERY rarely due to the length of a game you will get a 5 second delay while the host migrates (this has happend to me once in abot 50 games i have encountered one laggy match in them 50 games , not bad considering were hosting these games ourselves)

yes dedicated servers would be better and the max number of players is 18 (9v9 which is actually perfect for the maps they have got the balance bang on) but its still very good

there are loads of weapons and skills to unlock much more than before and new and customisable kill streak rewards

i was a very vocal about the fact that they were not planning dedi servers and i was convinced i wouldnt like it , i tried not to like it..........

Play the game then come back and tell me you still dont like it
