Hi, how are you?
Please i need to know if is possible i increase performance of my windows vista premium with the browser games?? I play a game but my processor dosen´t work in maximum speed (2.200 Ghz) how it work with other games, for exemple: trackmania, i think they are different game modes, differ from each other, I wonder
if it is possible or not to increase the frequency of processor in the browser game??

Thank you for your help.
Happy New year.

Hello Akuanauta,
Can you fill in your system specs, thanks.
You may find that you have speed stepping enabled, the way it works is that it only uses as much processor power as is needed, a browser game wont use much, so the CPU is throttled back, if this is the case, you can disable speed stepping in the Bios.
Hope this helps, take a look in your Bios and post your results, good luck.

I have an HP DV600 2.2 Ghz with Nvidia 8400 GS 128 and my bios does not have this characteristic configuration, usually when I want to increase the processor speed switch on the rigth mark cpu utility and have maximum operating speed but ultimately to link the program have problems overheating and it happened after installing vista sp2, I think.
I just like to know if it was possible to increase performance in games web browser, but I suppose that is not possible.

Thank you for your response

Well, im new to the forums, so please do not flame me if this is a dumb answer...

1) Try compressing the folder where you launch the game.
2) Did you try Game Booster? It's a pretty small download, but it helped me a LOT.
3) Try increasing your RAM. If you can't, try adding more from the Hard Disk...

I really like to help people! =)
Make sure you have the latest versions of your browser, Flash and Java.
Also make sure you have enough memory to run it comfortably.
Other than that, don't think there's much else you can do.

Do NOT follow Salli999's recommendations--- Compressing folders decreases performance and Virtual Memory is thousands of times slower than physical RAM. Gamebooster is SPYWARE!!!
