PES 2010 problem, thinks graphics card is under 128mb when it is 768mb

I have been running PES 2010 since it's release date fine with my system,
since last night, when I try to launch the game, it displays the following message:

Warning:
Your computer does not meet the minimum specifications necessary to run this software.
You may experience errors during operation.
The video card does not have the necessary specifications.(GPU:VRAM
128MB)

I have a Nvidia Geforce 260 768mb, I have tried reinstalling the nvidia drivers with the latest drivers from nvidia.com and I have also removed some newly installed video codecs which I believe caused the problem, to be honest I would like to try and solve this in a way which doesn't require reinstalling the game as I have about a years worth of customised players and kits etc.

I am running Vista Premium in 64bit.

Any help would be very much appreciated and it would be fantastic if this problem gets sorted thanks.

Have they recently patched the game ? That could have an affect. You might also check to see if your card is suppported by the game. It is possible, if the game has recently patched, that the support for video cards changed. Or they forgot a card.

Does the game company have a web site ? If so, check there and see if they have a faq or forums that mentions any problems with this card.

If it doesn't mention a problem, see if there is a way to contact them and see if they have any suggestions for a fix, a patch, etc.

Good Luck !
