atiumdag.dll Crash problem

    Windows 7 x64 and Windows 7 x64 ultimate / professional on Desktop
    Local Time: 12:23 PM

    atiumdag.dll Crash problem

    When i am playing aion. the login page keeps crashing me it says the atiumdag.dll has encountered an error. is it my graphics card or is it the driver? it runs great once i get past that screen though

    It is probably your graphics driver not the card. download and install a fresh copy

    I have to reinstall it like every day... i use the hotfix from 3Dguru should i just use the basic one from AMD?

    Seeing as this is a laptop have you tried the driver from Compal? Current driver they have is dated from 2009/10/28,

    just select KHLBX from the Drivers folder on the right and work your way to the VGA folder

    Laptop GPU's can be funny that way, one reason being that in most cases the only driver that works will be the one from the laptop manufacturer. It doesn't matter whether it is ATI or Nvidia based, neither usually support their mobile GPU's in the desktop driver.
