Lag Spikes in Vindictus

I am playing a great game called Vindictus. For the most part it runs great regardless of whether I am playing in High or Low res. But no matter what I will always get lag spikes. It is driving me crazy. I have tried just about everything to try and fix it.
Can someone please help!

Thank you to both of you for replying to my post. I have tried prolasso and I still get lag spikes. I am running wireless but even when I do plug directly into my modem I still get lag spikes. I know I have plenty of ram and all of that to run the game, my computer is defraged, and I am using Vista anti-lag and none of it works. So I have come to the conclusion that my computer sucks (It's Brand New), and my ISP can't handle online games. Thanks to everyone who has tried to help me in this very frustrating problem:geek:

With process lasso you have to tell it to switch to gaming mode for it to help with your game.
It restricts the processor usage of background programs and processes. It does not boost foreground programs though
