Very Few Intel based Motherboards,specially P35 ones allow you to set 1T .
If you cannot see the option in your current BIOS ,see if an updated BIOS has been released has that option.

actually my BIOS does give me the option...
it was set on auto at 2t and my vista assessment gave me a 5.0

now at 1t its giving me a score of 5.1

a little tiny increase in performance..
also is this 1t better and safer than 2t,
and whats the difference actually?
