Yes, I didn't push the desk entirely to the wall The picture doesn't show this but I left about 10cm of space to the wall itself behind the desk, to ensure good ventilation
Sorry, just got a little paranoid seeing a PC in such a tight confinement.

If you look closely on my photo you can see that position of the base of the monitor (it's quite flat) shows that there is a space between desk and wall The LCD is pushed all the way to the wall, and I made sure that it seats there stable

well ive finaly got round to geting a better graphics card ive taken out a pny 9500gt and put that in my wifes and ive just put in a asus 9800gt ultimate wei score has gone from 5.4 up to 5.9 iam well happy





as you can see it only just fit
next thing iam going to change is the cpu cooler can any body recomended a good one

That's a belgian site, but I checked scan and they DO have that particular heatsink

AMD CPU coolers are easier to set up I find.

With Intel sockets, you have to attach the whole mounting brackets first, and with AMD, the bracket is already on and you just use the retention clip that comes with the cooler to fasten it down.
