This may look like an ordinary Compaq Presario, except for the fact that it's running a 9800GT, and a SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme. I know it's not the hottest thing around, but I'm proud of it because nobody thinks that something in a compaq case would run too well.

That's the way to get a start to the rig you want, the case doesn't matter!

Yeah the HP Keyboard I am using now (and for the past 2yrs) has been fine for me. I don't need anything fancy/extra buttons that I won't use. I only play 1 game (BF2) but I don't play it that often (few times a month). Mainly right now I use the Desktop PC for surfing the internet/car stuff/music/porn.

Freelancer, are those Blue Cathods... I got the UV ones for my water cooling, but now I'm not going to use the blue UV reactive coolant. so now I'm thinking I might get blue lights instead of the UV ones..

and looks good jacobb war... thats a start. my old ghetto HP with a AMD 3800+ is when I first started using this forum.. I upgraded it's CPU to a 5400+ BE, and a better cooler and thermal paste, then moved on to a better graphics card... 8600GTS..

and then I even changed it's fan to a bigger, better fan. and slowly the sickness gets you. and now look at me. check a few pages back to see my latest..

that big ass fan on the side will certainly help keep that case nicely chilled...

No funny enough I have tried every possible variation it doesn't make a difference of more than 1 maybe 2 degrees, bit disappointed about that, so much so that I am contemplating changing it for a window.

As for the new processor, motherboard etc I am very pleased both Vista and Se7en run very smoothly.

Thank ya'll! (sorry that that word usage, I'm from Oklahoma lol) I'm looking at getting the antec 900 case, and hopefully a new mobo.

And dang pooch! That's a good looking case that you have there, and even nicer specs man!
