| Vista Ultimate X64 | Re: Show us your rig Thanks guys...And I built it purely as a gaming rig., but never dreamed that any game let alone NecroVision (with everything up full whack) could look so good..It's mind-blowing...Much appreciated.. |

| Vista Ultimate X64, Windows 7 X64, XP Pro X64, Vista Home Premium X86 | Re: Show us your rig as you can see generic case, but it keeps the system cool so who cares plus it is in my living room with the 32" sony lcd, WII, and DVD player. so i cant really have all the extra lights inside showing. but it sure is nice having it in the living room for gaming purposes when the kids are awake. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Show us your rig Pic below of my main system. It's essentially the Extreme COS system that I build/sell, but with a different monitor since I wasn't worried about BluRay playback compatibility: ![]() In the far right, the smaller black box next to the CPU is my UPS. |

| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: Show us your rig Here is a link to some pictures of my setup: CLICK HERE Really crappy cell phone pictures.. kinda blurry.. quick spec, though: Box on the left is Gladys.. shes running: Asus P6T-Deluxe Intel Core i7 920 12gbs of DDR3 Two 500gb hdds in RAID0 Two BFG GTX280s in SLI Corsair HX1000 The case is a Thermaltake Sorprano (need a new case) and yeah shes a bit dusty inside. Im gona clean her out real good this weekend. This box gets a 5.9 vista rating and a 7.9 in win7beta. The box on the right is Lucy... shes running: Asus P5Ne-SLI Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0ghz 8gbs of DDR2 a single BFG 8800GTS OC Same RAID0 setup as Gladys 600watt off brand PSU The case is by Ultra... its called the Grid.. This box gets a 5.4 in vista.. havent tried win7 on it yet. I want to get larger cooler cases for both boxes. I wana upgrade the Core 2 Duo to a Core 2 Quad and swap out the ddr2 for some better stuff... maybe pop in a second 8800gts and run it in sli... both boxes are hooked up to 22'' Dell monitors. Ive some sweet logitec 5.1 speakers hooked up to the core i7 box which you can see spread out around the desk in the pictures. This set up is great for two-boxing any MMO. I mainly use the core i7 for all my gaming and the core 2 duo for business and school. |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP2 | Re: Show us your rig Hello everyone! I bought some new parts for my box (actually, I'll change almost everything hehe) and they are supposed to arrive tomorrow or the day after tomorrow but I have some concerns about some stuff specially the cable management. Here's a list of the components I'll be having: Case: Thermaltake V9 PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 1000W CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 OC to 3.4Ghz MOBO: EVGA 780i Triple SLi GPU: MSI nVidia GTX 295 SLi RAM: 8GB (4 x 2GB OCZ DDR2-1066 / PC2-8500 / Platinum Series) HDD: 1 x Samsung 750GB / 32MB / 7.200 RPM) FAN: Thermaltake Mini Typhoon Mon: 2 x ViewSonic VA2216w I've been looking all over the internet for ppl with a rig like this to tell me that I won't be having any problems with the cabling and/or heating. I want to OC the CPU to at least 3.4 Ghz (it comes at 2.6) and add a second GPU card later to make a quad-SLi but along with those changes, I'll switch to water cooling. Has anyone had a good experience with the Thermaltake V9 case and a setup like this before? I've noticed from the pictures I've found that besides from the bottom opening and the back of the 3.5" bays, there isn't any room to go back and forth with the cables. I'll post a picture as soon as I rig it up ![]() Thanks!!! |
