Re: Show us your rig

Yeah, the fans do lack filters, although it does have mesh-like screens over them...but yeah...opening the side of this thing you can feel the air just rushing out of it ^^

And surprisingly the fans aren't that loud... The fan on my graphics card is constantly running at 100%, which is very loud, but then again I haven't been able to try to move it any due to not having an OS on the system yet (doesn't get here till monday )

Specs are:

XCLIO A380PLUS case
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU cooler
Q6600
EVGA nForce 780i
850w Zumax x4 series
8GB G.SKILL DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
XFX 8800 GT 512MB Alpha Dog Edition
750GB Seagate 32MB Cache
3 case fans (included built-in case) 1 120mm Antec exhaust fan in back
DVD-ROM drive & CD-RW drive

any other question, let me know ^^. I'll be adding another 8800 GT soon as well.

Re: Show us your rig

lol 8GB of RAM was just to give it some extra 'umpf'.

I figured if I was going to spend all of this money on a new system I should at least make it to the fullest potential that I was able to spend (been saving for a while lol).

And yeah, your system is sweet too ^^

Xen,

Your Graphics fan will quieten down once you have the OS installed and running. It will only run at 100% during boot or when it gets hot.

I agree though, once I'm booted into Vista the fans are not really that load. Just a slight hum.
