| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: MAJOR Problem! Help! Yes, to reset the BIOS, you have to remove the CMOS battery at let it sit for about 10 minutes. I would then go back into the BIOS and check that your motherboard is detecting everything it should--RAM, HDs--and is running at normal temps. ...And you've probably already checked this, but make sure all your fans are running, and all cables are connected securely. |

Hmm ill try some stuff mentioned here. Thanks  Also if i dont fix it by monday morning im gona take it to where i got it all from and they said theyll take a look. Even they didnt know what to do :P |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: MAJOR Problem! Help! I agree with Raj. It's sounding more and more like a bad MOBO. Have you tried a different cable for the drive to see if it may be bad? If you have a spare MOBO laying around, you might use it as a test with your drives. Shawn |

| Vista Ultimate x32 | Re: MAJOR Problem! Help! Hmmmm, quite a riddle. 'Bad motherboard' is too broad for the guessing game. So please narrow iyt down to a specific part of the mobo. How about reflashing the BIOS. If the BIOS is corrupted somehow, it will give these kind of errors. Did you update lately or install new devices? I guess you checked the CPU fan, Graphics and northbridge temps, in case it might be overheating |
