You can get rid of the stupid, irritating nag screens while leaving the rest of UAC still operational. In Regedit navigate to the following Key:

HK_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Then set "ConsentPromptBehaviourAdmin" to 0. To restore default behaviour set that key to 2.

while we're on the subject....anyone got a link for tweaking vista (ive been using blackVipers settings as a starting point on XP pro...he has a great custom reg setting page for both XP and vista now.)

just wanna know if u guys got any nice linkys???

You can run in silent mode. Download Tweak UAC program and you can choose to run in silent mode, It's not totally disabled only the administrator prompts are disabled. You can enable it on this the same program or you can totally disable it.
