every time i try start windows sidebar it said "windows sidebar is managed by your system administrator" But the problem is im the administrator

ive done
unlocked the hidden administrator account
disabled the UAC

but still nothing please help

thanks to brink for the tutorials and advice but still nothing.......

Click Start, type regedit.exe and press ENTER

Navigate to the following branch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Windows \ Sidebar

In the right-pane, delete the value named TurnOffSidebar (if found)

Repeat the same in the following branch:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Windows \ Sidebar

Exit Registry Editor.

Yeah, I just did not have the HKLM part in the tutorial. It needed to be updated anyway. ;)
