| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Backup failure I looked up that error in the support site: Search The Knowledge Base But don't see anything specifically for Vista. I suspect is has something to do with resource usage - Have you installed any new components lately who's drivers might be conflicting with something?? |

| vista home premium 32bit | Re: Backup failure Thanks, for your help. I think a complete reinstall will solve the problem. I just do not want to take the time to do this. If you can think of anything else or another forum, I would appreciate it greatly. Dave |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Backup failure It might help others diagnose the problem if we knew what is your backup destination? Is it an external hard drive; is it DVD's...some people have problems when they try to backup to the Recovery partition on their hard drive which is a no-no -- in my system, the main hard drive is C: and the Recovery partition is D: -- my backup destination is an external hard drive letter K: Let us know what your situation is. |
