| Junior Member Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Quick Question Hey all I'm new to the forums and I wanted to get some information from you guys about any x64 bit OS. I'm going to build a new computer with these specs AMD Phenom 9600 Quad Core Gigabyte MA790FX-DS5 Patriot Extreme 2 x 2GB PC2 6400 OCZ Xstream 700w Power supply I'm wondering what operating system would work best with that. A lot of people been saying that vista is really buggy but I haven't heard much about the XP version of 64 bit. I know that due to me having a Quad core and 4 gigs of ram ill have to run a x64 bit OS any recommendations or insight will be greatly appreciated |

Microsoft took the best features from OSX and implemented them in vista. 64 bit version is the way to go! |

Only had two small problems which I managed to sort out myself and this was due to the computer self built and none of the files had been indexed. If you install your oem version it can take a while for the computer to settle down but once it is up and running you will not look back. |
