| Newbie Rep Power: 6  |  Should I Switch? I am upgrading my PC within the next week and my processor choice is an AMD Athlon X2 6400+. I have an Athlon 64 3500+ right now and I have always wondered, should I switch to a 64-bit OS? When I bought the 3500+, Vista wasn't even out yet, so I only considered XP 64, but now I am wondering, when I order my CPU, should I order Vista 64 with it? I plan on doing heavy gaming along with basic web surfing and running your average utilities. Would the switch benefit me? What do I need to be concerned about? |
