Need some help please =(

Hi, I have a problem and here it is, any help would be muchly appreciated....

Today i decided to give my laptop a clean ,because i was running out of space so i started deleting files and stuff and sorting out folders. I moved the 'pictures' folder into my 'documents' thinking it would be like windows xp when i used to have 'my pictures' folder in the documents folder along with'my videos' folder and that if you know what i mean? so i moved my 'pictures' folder out of it's orginal place where it was stored ,along with the 'favourites','links','videos' folders which was stored in 'Tammie' my computer name folder/directory whatever it is?(sorry im not very computer literate).

Anyway so then if i remeber corrently when i clicked on 'documents' on the star menu it would bring up my pictures ,so i right-clicked 'pictures' on the start menu and clicked the 'location' tab and restored its location and after that i ended up with two 'picture' folders appearing on my start menu instead of one 'pictures' and one 'documents' folder. And when i was clicking on 'documents' somewhere else it was still bringing up my pictures. so i decided to try and delete one of the picture folders and somehow i ended up wiping all my pictures out of the folder and when i was clicking 'pictures' from the start menu it was saying a error message so i couldn't get into it at all. I have no idea how to get the 'pictures' and 'documents' folder back to normal and also is there anyway i can recover my pictures because obviously when i deleted it ,it bypassed the recycle bin so i can't recover them from there.Is there any good software recovery programs that can retrieve my lost pictures?please please help i would be ever so grateful.

Welcome to Vista Forums.

See if doing step 5 here for Restore Default on the folders that you moved will put them back where they were for you. If not, you will need to manually change them back to their default location in step 4.

I'm afraid that I do not know of any recovery programs to use.
