So last year I bought a laptop that came with a HD-DVD drive. While I'm sure that was one thing that drove the price up, the main reason I got it was because it had 2 hard drives. I bought 2 HD-DVD movies, but other than that, I have never really taken advantage of the feature.
Now that the war is over, I'm not sure what to do about this albatross around my laptop's neck. I can't region-hack it, so the only reason to keep it is upsampling. I don't know if it really upsamples, or if it's just the computer that does that. Buying Blu-ray isn't an option right now, since they're ~$900. I also think it's too late to sell it on ebay.
Any recommendations?
