I successfully installed Vista Home Premium on a Dell Dimension 2350 but noticed an 8 minute boot time during installation with the Vista Install Disk and subsequently 7-8 minute boot times after Vista was installed. I have no cards in the PCI slots and have disabled everything in the BIOS with no improvement. I have the latest BIOS but unfortunately it is dated 2003. Any thoughts would be appreciated. A long boot time with the Installation Disk and a formated hard disk has me totally confused.
