Donations - Lets buy Brink a decent PC

I'm sure all of you are well aware of the amazing work Shawn Brink does for the Vista Community with his tutorials and the help he gives, now Shawn is using a pretty old P4 system to write these tutorials and due to the lack of power, it can be a very time consuming process.

For the past three months our site has pretty much broke even, with our advertising revenue just about covering our escalating hosting, bandwidth and licencing costs.

From now on all donations will go towards buying Shawn some decent equipment to play with, this will not only benifit Shawn but the entire Vista community.

So come on guys, dig deep and show a a little appreciation.

Hell, best buy is having a sale right now for a AMD Phenom system for $789...it has 4 GBs of RAM preinstalled and can support up to 12 on the motherboard.

Silly me, I thought he said a GOOD system............

I'm in. Give me the info to get my system running and I'll throw you $150. (I originally said in another thread I'd donate the $129 that geeksquad would charge, but I just upped it lol).

Hey, just because it's not built from the ground up doesn't mean it isn't a good system. :P

Re: Donations - Lets buy Brink a decent PC

Shawn has done us all a tremendous service by writing most of the tutorials that are read everyday by hundreds if not thousands of people. The Microsoft MVP's frequently use links to our tutorials, written by Shawn, to help others. Your donation to help Shawn is one small way you can say thank you. The donation doesn't have to break the bank or even be in the hundreds of dollars. I'm sure most of you have used the very well written tutorials to improve your own system. Show your appreciation. Donate today and let's get Shawn an updated system so he can continue to do what he does best. Helping others.

When you donate, post in this thread. Let's help Shawn
