| Vista home premium 32bit | I/O device error Did a backup on a DVD and got a OK that the backup was ok. Then did a recovery back to orginal setup. Then the problem - attempted to restore the backup files and got a message "the request could not be performed because of a I/O device error (0x8007045D)". And now that DVD will not respond are all and if fact will freeze up the computer if allow to run long enough. Have a HP Compaq SR5210NX with 1015 mb memory. Is there a program that will recover these files? I did the backup and recovery at HP's instructions due to a very slow and troublesome computer (Vista struck again!!!!) Any suggestion out there? |
