Physical memory 4gb - Installed 8gb

The > 4GB issue is only present on some motherboards, most of Gigabyte`s are affected by it hence the MEMRemap function. Most other manufacturers have fixed this issue and moved on.

In addition, my grues would be that server boards, like those Mike is using, would have solved those issues a long time ago, since they have always had a greater capacity for memory than standard end user boards.

My server boards start at $550 and go up over $1000 each. They require Opterons and Xeons. They require ECC RAM. You also need a high quality power supply. You get other issues with server boards along with a huge Visa bill.
