Start menu problem

Hello everyone!!
Recently I installed windows for the 21st time...(Yes it is 21)
It's all working out but i found a glitch.
When i changed the location of my pictures and music to an other location, all of them where working 100%.
But then i had to change the letter of the drive they were on.
Now when i click on them they don't do anything and if i right-click on it and go to properties it kind of freezes..
A properties window appears but it's almost all white.
Any suggestions on how i can reset this??
System restore doesn't work, nor changing the letter at the drive.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Start menu problem

Hi Dassen_Alex,

You can use Option Two in this tutorial to type in the new correct full path with the new drive letter for these folders in the registry instead of the default ones from the tutorial.

Personal User Folder - Restore Missing Folder

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Start menu problem

Thank u for your time.
It's a really god tutorial but my problem is still here.
After doing the steps it feels more that the button is stuck than anything else.
So the button in the start menu from pictures and music doesn't respond...

Re: Start menu problem

You may need to restart again for the changes in the registry to be applied.

You can also try unchecking the button in the Start menu Customize area and click ok, then check them again and click ok to see if that will reset them.
