Vista Themes

Does anyone know any good websites to get vista themes from?

I have been looking everywhere and have found nothing.

I just want to add some style!

Re: Vista Themes

Hi Bhs2010,

Stardock makes some great programs (EX: Object Desktop or WindowsBlinds) to do this. Unfortanetly, they are not free, but not expensive either.

Stardock.com - Your Edge In Software

You can then download a ton of skins from here for these programs.

WinCustomize: Your home for Vista and XP themes, skins, wallpapers, dreamscenes, icons and everything you need to customize your pc.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Re: Vista Themes

Also look into the style patcher VistaGlazz Downloads | CodeGazer to allow for full glass effect even on maximized windows *and* to patch your msstyles so that you can create / install custom styles.

Be sure to read that page correctly - right tin the middle of the paragraph in red is the link to the latest 'beta' which supports SP1 - VG version 1.0 does ***not***.

Re: Vista Themes

VistaGlazz will only work on the 32 bit Vista for now.

Re: Vista Themes

Ummm no, I have it working on 64bit right now....

Vista glazz patches the uxtheme.dll (or whatever it is called now) so you can import your own style, but also patches the current aero style so that if you have aero glass enabled then the effect remains even on maximized windows.

I'll post a screen shot in a minute to show you the idea....
