Re: Problem Event Windows Vista 32 bit......

The RAM is checking out, so on to the next step: The Motherboard. Any diagnostic programs out there to check the Motherboard?

What is up with PC Wizard it would not load correctly. I went to uninstall what had loaded and it told me parts of the program would not uninstall and had to be removed manually

WRXCoupe,

For PC Wizard to run properly, you have to right click on the shortcut and click Run as administrator first.

Re: Problem Event Windows Vista 32 bit......

Most of us Vista users will agree, though some may not, that using a registry 'cleaner' / fixer on Vista is just a bad idea.

OK, let me say that *I* will say that - although I do use CCleaner, I don't use to to touch the registry at all, but others on here do.

WRXCoupe,

I never used Regcure, but Wise Registry Cleaner is a great free one. I have not had any problems using it with fixing (deleting) the results is produced. However, with all registry cleaners, you should always check the results to be sure they are safe to be fixed. It also has a undo feature incase you deleted something you should not have and needed to restore it back to the registry.

Excellent recommendation! There is a reg entry it could not delete: Abale.AcroIEToolbar.1
Looks like a zip drive manufacturer. I don't like the fact that it is an regentry for a tool bar!

Adobe.AcroIEToolbar? That is installed with Adobe Acrobat Reader, and it won't be removable as long as you have Reader installed and are actually using IE at the moment....
