Once it came back i had issues with the folders remembering where they were. I looked on here and found a fix. | Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Folder Settings Hello Shawngee, If you mean the fix in Method Two below, then this is normal. Is resets all folder views to the All Items folder template with the Details icon size. Windows Explorer Folder View settings You will just need to change them to the Large icon size manually instead and close the window. Vista will then remember what the window is set for the next time it is opened. You can also apply another folder template to the folder window if you like. This tutorial will show you how to. Windows Explorer - Folder Type Templates Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Folder Settings Your welcome G. The Automatic Folder Type Discovery for Templates feature in Vista is what would normally detect a file type in a folder and automatically assign a folder template accordingly, but this tends to get you, for example, a music template for a folder full of documents with just one recently added audio file. The first tutorial link posted above disables this problematic feature to prevent Vista from changing the templates on you on the fly, and help Vista remember the folder view settings. Have a great day, Shawn |
