''chaos'' would be more fitting

Looks good and tidy....agreed. I'd use Dreamscene except most of them are too fussy for me....now I know you aren't going to believe I said that....LOL

i totally agree .....i don't really like dreamscenes i prefer stardock deskscapes but they will not run on my rig for some unknown reason.

it tells me i must have vista installed....lol

Here's mine. I modified the Start menu so it doesn't show most recent programs, and just use it for the shortcuts to the games I play. That way I can keep my desktop tidy.

I have modified my desktop photos.

2 things: I found better (higher quality) images with higher resolutions for my inital desktop, and also a replacement for the left side image, and I have made use of Herby's ACM Textless Desktop icons. I took his basic list and modified several for my own use with Vista, and just spent the weekend modifying them again for Vista x64 (should also work for XP x64 as well).

WARNING
  These are 3360 x 1050 mages - if you have a slow connection, I do not recommend that you click these links.


Although Picasa has downsized them a bit, they're still pretty large.

My next project is to use hte Herby ACM Dock shortcuts so I can have textless icons with extended context menus in RocketDock. I'll keep you posted.
