Re: Post your Desktops!

Why is it that when I was using XP all I ever used was a plain grey background but since getting Vista and this widescreen monitor I'm forever changing the wallpaper and putting new pictures on it, I've just done it again with this one.

Re: Post your Desktops!

Looks very nice and peaceful Joan, I think it's because the newer screens are so much more vibrant and it as if your looking through a window.

If you want you can get the Desktop Wallpaper Sidebar Gadget which lets you have the wallpaper change at a desired set time.

Just create a folder with all your favourite wallpapers and then set the directory in the gadget, you can also hover over the picture on the sidebar and change it at any time.

Re: Post your Desktops!

Yes it is peaceful Mr Grim and I used to have the slideshow sidebar gadget but took it off as I have the Pictures folder as a screensaver so see all my pictures etc when the machine is idle, so there was no use for one in the sidebar

Here's my current one. Wallpaper is Fallout 3's wasteland. Post-apocalyptic America.

Re: Post your Desktops!

I knew that looked familiar - F3 is rocking over here on my box thus far. I cannot believe how realistic most of the graphics are....
