Vista - RunDLL Error !

open a command prompt and type sfc /scannow windows will scan your dll files and replace any missing or currupt , you will need your install cd to hand.

Its a longshot but its worth a try

I think its the Vundo too as it said it 160 affected in registry entries before I removed it. In Norton quaratine, it says it is completely removed but the message is keeping popping out. I scanned with the trojan vundo removal tool in safe mode with system restore off and it said there are none found (thanks for that though).

I'm not too sure about the date.. but how do you go back by date?

Should I restore the trojan from my quaratine and try removing it agian with the vundo removal tool?

I tried restoring and removing again with both FixVundo and Norton 08 in safe mode. After the scan from Norton 08, it tells me that it is partially removed. In quarantine, affected areas listed are: 160 Registry Entries, 1 File, 8 Processes, 1 Service, 1 Broswer Cookie.
What should I do to remove the remaining as its partially removed, should I post HiJackThis log or ...

If it were me I'd just re-install Vista. That's a lot of stuff to manually dig through only to "maybe" solve the problem.

OMG. Thank you so much, it found 2 trojans after the scan, deleted, restarted, and it was fixed. Awesome, can't thank you enough
