hi not sure if anyone else has had this problem when i type a document in microsoft and it pops up type your key numbers in i typed them in from under my laptop they dont match i contacted hp but they never get back to me what should i do i think the wrong sticker was put on in the factory overis seas no one wants to help not even dick smith where i brought it please if someone else has had this prob could you tell me what you did? thanks

It will be easier for us to help you if you do the following:

1. Add punctuation and correct grammar, we don't understand as well without these as punctuation helps separate different statements and questions.

2. Show us a screenshot, we have no idea what the message your getting looks like. This will help us identify and possibly fix the problem.

3. Please stay straight to your problem, you throw in statements that don't belong in the middle of a question.

i would be guessing he/she is trying to Activate windows..... but that's just a guess

I have no idea of what you just said.

But by picking out words, it sounds like you're having License Key Issues.

Try contacting Microsoft, as they're offering free support for Vista SP1:

What I think might be happening here is that Microsoft Office is asking for a key (he says he's typing a document) and he is typing in his Vista product key.
