Hi I'm a new user of Vista and I am having some problem with my screen blacking out during use and I am wondering if any one else experienced this problem as it is very annoying.

My thoughts are that the computer is at fault, and not the Vista program?

Or maybe I have been unlucky and have picked up a viruse.

Can any one provide some answers that will enable me to fix this problem.

Regards

At a guess i will assume that this is happening when, lets say your watching a movie and after 30 mins or so the screen just goes black and at a shake of a mouse or click of a button it returns to normal, if this is true then check out http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/63567-power-options-sleep-mode-problems.html?ltr=P

If this is not the case then could you please tell us a little more about your proble.... i.e what your doing when it happens what software your running your anti virus and firewall and the make and modle of you pc/laptop, if it is custem biult then give us as much info on its hardware and software as possible:geek:
