Error Msg

Hi folks im new to this so please be patient with me:D every time i start up my computer i get the following error msg 'WZCSLDR2.exe entry point could not be found. The procedure entry point apsInitialze could not be located in dynamic link library wlanapi.dll'
Can anyone tell me what this means, how do i get rid of it and if i do get rid of it will it harm my computer???? Thank you

You wouldn't happen to have a D-Link wireless network card in your computer would you? If so do you have the latest x64 compatible driver installed for it?

Hi stormy13, yes i did have a D-Link wireless router - which i have recently got rid of and i now have a netopia router (i had to update the driver for d-link when i got vista) if i delete the files etc on system to do with d-link will harm my comp in any way? Thanks a mil

If you're not using anything D-Link, uninstall away.

Probably why you're getting the error, the driver is trying to load but not finding the hardware.

Hi stormy13, i was getting that msg even when i was using the d-link (up until last week- i only got the netopia router then) thats why i am wondering would it interfere with other system files if i delete them. Although i am training to be a MCDST (the course is only covering XP) so im a bit wary where Vista is concerned!! Thanks for your help stormy
