Permissions on External USB Drive

Hi All,

I have a external USB drive that I used for a backup of important files on my XP box and have recently moved that USB drive to my new Vista box. The drive is formated NTFS and I can view the all the files fine but can't delete or move them. Now I have tried as the "Local Administrator" and as my "Domian User" both of them are in the "Administrators Group" to change permissions on this drive and / or take or change ownership, all to no avail. I get Access denied. Now the "Owner" is the local machine/Administrators which I'm guessing is the Administrators Group. Its almost like it is ignoring the fact that "Administrator and JoeUser" are a member of the admins group.

Ideas Anyone.
