sticky notes

Just got this new system. I want to use the note pad but it won't let me enter text. It only allows skript writting with the mouse. how can I make entries on a note by typing in the info?

thanks for your help

Re: sticky notes

Hi Fingers, and welcome to Vista Forums.

This not possible with Stick Notes. You can only use the mouse with it.

Sticky Notes

However, the Windows Sidebar has a Notes gadget included with Vista that you can add to the Sidebar and type in it. You can right click on the Windows Sidebar tray icon and click on Add Gadgets to select the Notes gadget.

Hope this helps,

Re: sticky notes

Thanks for the quick reply. To bad stickies can't be more user friendly, I'll go with the side bar.

Your welcome Fingers. Yeah, it doesn't have all of the same features, but it can be useful.
