Re: BSOD - System_Service_Exception (3B)

Norm - Yes a walkthough would be ideal, thanks!

Fumz - I'm not attempting to stop people from helping me, I don't know anything about RAM modules and I'm just trying to provide as much information as I can.

Re: BSOD - System_Service_Exception (3B)

Do you have CPU-Z. It's a free download, run without an install. Run it and post me a snip of your Memory and SPD.

Re: BSOD - System_Service_Exception (3B)

Just looking at what you sent me previously . Everything seems to be OK. I am still sure the problem is with your MOBO and 4 x 1gb sticks of RAM. Could you please try just 2 for a while to let me move on if that isn't the problem?

Re: BSOD - System_Service_Exception (3B)

OK - I will try that. I have also now removed the sound card.

Thank you for your suggestions, I very much appreciate them.

Could I just show you my latest crash dump, this happened a few moments ago. This is the first one to suggest hardware:

If you see NtfsExceptionFilter on the stack then the 2nd and 3rd
parameters are the exception record and context record. Do a .cxr
on the 3rd parameter and then kb to obtain a more informative stack
    trace.
