I think some application or codecks cause this problem

go to:

Start>>Search>>eventvwr.msc ,go to Application section and check errors, especially pay attention with messages containers some information about cmd.exe,in these messages should be information whats file cause problem - identify program and unistall this.

There is no other errors?Have you installed any codecs (nonsystem like K-lite Codeck pack or other);this messages seems caused by some nonsystem codeck - if you have any non-system codecks uninastall them.

If in safe mode is OK but in normal mode is wrong than some application caused this problem definitly caused by some application...we must guess what is it

1.Install RunAlyzer The home of Spybot-S&D!

look these links
Task Manager Process List
Filenames that start with C
In these links are index potential program's value in keys

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

which are unassesary, unwanted and could caused any problems potentially - if you find in these keys any unwanted value by using RunAlyzer remove it
Uninstall any toolbars if have i.e Google Toolbar,Yahoo Toolbar or other
2.If point 1 no help you uninstall non-system firewall, antivir and antimalwere
3.If nothing help you must uninstall one by one programs which you have installed untill this error stop appear

Generally yes - exactly explains this link ->O'Reilly - Safari Books Online - 0596008767 - Windows XP Annoyances for Geeks, 2nd Edition

I think will be beter if I'll check your registry myself:

You will do 2 things:

1.BTW I want to see your event viewer personality

Right click on Applications sections>>Save As,then repeat that on System

section, pack both files to *.zip and upload this on ->Speedy Share - upload your files here
of course give me link to this
2.Make in RunAlyzer log likely to HJT:

Of course do not paste item to post directly - only upload this on a any server -may be speedyshare.com either - of course give me link to this.I'll tell what you should remove

1.First of all check your disk to search some errors by using any tool;see:wklej.org - wklejka nr 8789
then you fix this problem, make sure you have the newest hotfixes installed -if not -> update
2.Remove item, you can do directly in regedit.exe (RunAlyzer only call regedit.exe if you want remove items)
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [WindowsWelcomeCenter]
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [DAEMON Tools Lite] C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\daemon.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SunJavaUpdateSched] C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.6.0_06\bin\jusched.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Adobe Reader Speed Launcher] C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\Reader_sl.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [GrooveMonitor] C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\GrooveMonitor.exe
you don't need these values- why see example:What is JUSched.exe? JUSched.exe Task Manager Process Information
I'm sure you can understand whats going on and in the future will do yourself this

Unistall these in following rule:

1.Virtual Flopy drive ->full these errors (2 different errors but surly corelated)->wklej.org - wklejka nr 8785
2.VMWare - second suspicious ->(2 different errors corelated full of the either)->wklej.org - wklejka nr 8786
3.Roxio - it could be problem either->wklej.org - wklejka nr 8788

which tool do you suggest for scannig errors ?

what those wklej.org liks are for ?
however i don't think that they caused problem i have them on my laptop and i don't have any problem with cmd there
maybe its about a windows service or driver ? since both hardwares and OS differs

btw i offen experience below crash too i think it might be related to cmd crashes

freeware:MHDD ->HDDGURU: MHDD
comercial:HDD Regenerator ->HDD Regenerator - Regenerate your hard drive, detect and recover physical bad sectors

There is no proof and in my experience all these kind errors when I have met caused some nonsystem applications. You dont' have problem in safe mode either and I don't think that more MS services or drivers cause problem - even with this error you've showed - it's seems some conflict with non-system service likely you cmd.exe trouble - I think there is common source trouble these two problems. But there is way to definitly proof/reject your theory.Follow to KB331796 MS article about "clean boot procedure" ->How to perform a clean boot procedure to prevent background programs from interfering with a game or a program that you currently use and test your system.
If after clean boot procedure will have no any errors uninstall programs which I've described in previous post (of course singly not all at once)

since both hardwares and OS differs
The only driver which you have trouble is vfd.sys from Virtual Flopy drive and someone from Roxio, there is no more any errors about drivers in event viewer, but if you want update all drivers as well. What do you have to lose to verify my theory?

i've done that clean boot procedure (i've disabled both startup items and non system services as explained in kb)

i've uninsatlled Virtual Floppy Drive but it seems there are something in registry how can i get rid of them?
P.S. : i had that problem before installing Virtual Floppy Drive
P.S. 2: i've uninstalled Roxi Easy Media Creator but the error still exist

That's strange but I've to accept it.Follow to:

but I suggest boot computer, although you can't update but repairing is much effective
there's not other way ?
btw i've found something stupid ... when i run cmd and go into its properties it doesn't crash after closing !!! deafault option works too..
it doesn't matter whether i do just opening its properties while it is runnig and close it or changing something it prevents crash !

Strange...but nothing to tell me

First of all you have to repair your disk, even this error is not corelated with you trouble because repair hardware has higher order than repair system -always.But now I'am thinking it could be corelated - suppose where you have some bad blocks (even very little surly) there are lots of code of file which is neccesary to work any service - of course due to this our service will be crashed. It's possible after repairing bads our service will be repaired and if any problems stop appear of course you don't need repair system in this way- if not you must to do that.Becuase I suspect this some files due to bad blocks could be corrupted and don't know which are the alone import any *.REG file will be little effective, besides trouble with permissions -for many keys Administrators and System haven't full control :sleepy:
You can also try use System Restore if you have any point before you have any trouble, but because you have trouble from long time I doubt do you have

My Computer

i get this crash with cmd.exe, however on my machine, it seems that windows error reporting serivce just sees any attempt to close cmd as an application crash. Disabling the windows error reporting service results in it closing without any pop ups telling me it crashed etc, but i find error reporting useful, so keep it enabled.

any success to solve it ?

btw i've restored an older registry backup which i've made when i've installed all of my drivers
it solved my problem for now...
however it doesn't import all of keys
now i'm sure that one of my softwares causes that problem

i will run system restore after this (i've messed too much!)
do you know any software that repairs registry ?
