Hello I have discovered something very strange. Simple task: I want to move a program group named Ageia into another to make it subgroup (subfolder). So I just drag it with the mouse onto the target folder, wait until it opens and then place it there - OK. But what I see then?! The folder is still in its original location! So I think that move action was undone, but no it is there in my folder named multimedia and in the previous location too! Did I copy it? So I want to move it again, and it says a ridiculous error message: "could not find this item. This is no longer located in c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs. Verify the item location and try again."
So I verified it and it is really not there, but it is still displayed in my start menu (twice) and the context menu on the "ghost" item contains only "expand" and "sort by name" options instead of normal options available for folders. I hope it will disappear after restart... WTH can it still be? I thought start menu should reflect its folder and refresh hevery time I click on it, but it seems to do some strange things instead...
