I have two computers.
one is vista 32
one is vista 64

I want to take the hd drive out of the vista 32 machine and put it into the vista 64 machine,
will the vista 64 machine recognize the hd i moved from the vista 32 machine
or will it need to me reformated etc.

Hi pkofman, welcome to the board,
I have never done this before, but once after I changed from 32 bit OS to 64 bit the Maxtor lists below became a raw HDD. So I believe your HDD is not likely to be recognized by the 64 bit system. Why not hook it up and let us know the result. Good luck and thanks.
