Vista SP1 Custom Visual Styles

I cannot get custom visual styles or themes to work on my computer (Vista SP1 32-bit). I downloaded the modified System32 files and installed them, restarted my computer, put the Visual styles in the right folder, but when I go to the change style menu they dont show up. The files I downloaded were labeled as specifically for Vista SP1, does anyone know what the issue could be? Thanks in advance.

You wouldn't happen to have more than one Aero/Basic/etc showing when you are on the Appearance window would you?

If so then your themes are there, just not showing using the names on the folder/theme. If that is the case not sure if anyone here has a better idea but I used this,

Use Vista DeskHack, to choose Vista themes as you wish | Vista Home

with no ill affects other than now my custom themes show up with the proper name(s).
