Ntfs.sys driver

I am using windows vista ultimate. I am having problems booting my system. I have error that says Windows/System32/Drivers/Ntfs.sys is corrupt. I did a repair, and it started ok, but now I am having the same problem,and need to repair it all the time??..Can someone please help me?.Thank You.

It sounds like a dying harddrive. Download "Hirens boot CD 9.6" burn the image to a CD and boot from the disk.

There are several tools on it that can check your harddrive for problems.

Saw this post for a while, can't believe no one jump in and pin point the problem; may be just can't. If your drivers are up to date, then it sounded like your HDD is going out. However, before running a check on the HDD, I would really wiggle and tug on the SATA cable connection to the HDD to see if helping. When you have a chance, get some aftermarket SATA cables if you are not already using it. The ones come with the MB is known problematic.

Thanks bruce2, it all started after updating my drivers..hmmm.. it seems to be ok now??.anyway thanks for your reply,and time.
