I have a EnVision G218a1 22" widescreen, only had it a year, all of a sudden
the screen went black so i rebooted, the system info screen showed up but
only for 2 seconds then went black, the system continued to load but black
screen.

I hooked up another monitor and everything works fine, the EnVision G218a1
is under warranty, should i return it or is there a solution for this?

Hi Steve,

Did you use a different monitor lead when you tried your other monitor? If so, then try this lead on your original monitor as it may be nothing more than a faulty lead. If, however, you tried the other monitor on the same lead then it looks as though the monitor has become faulty. Take Aaron's and John's advice, and also mine in this case, and return the monitor under warranty.
