Administrator Account Lost?

Hello. I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

Upon restarting after attempting to change my SID [I KNOW. STUPID MOVE ON MY PART], I cannot access my old (Admin) account on my PC.

Is there ANY way to recover from this? I mean there has to be some kind of solution to getting the account back considering my hard drive is still filled with all of the data stored on the user account & I can still see the folder on my guest account, just can't access it.

PLEASE help. I've tried so many things that just don't work.

ALSO: When I try getting into Safe Mode, it gives me some sort of error like, "Windows could not connect to the SEN service. Please contact your system administrator."

You can restore the account by using System Restore to restore to a point BEFORE you deleted the account.

Thing is, I have no restore points to before it happen. Sucks... any other way anybody can think of? :[

I guess there is a lesson there. System Restore does have a use and really should be left on. Nope. I can't think of anything else.

I do leave t on. :( It's just when I changed my SID, I waited a few days before restarting. Thus, my PC created more restore points deleting the previous ones. :/ Blah. I seem to be SOL.

Any details on re-installing the OS w/out losing any data?

You can access any data files by changing the administrator permissions for each folder and file. There are a number of ways to do this. You can also use the Secret Administrator Account

I actually had done that before I changed my SID. I tried doing it again after the SID change, but you need Administrative elevation before you can do that and I can only use the guest account. Which is my main problem with doing anything is I'm on the guest account. Odd thing is, when the UAC pops up and asks for the Administrative password to start the program, there is no box to type the password.

All the accounts (including Hidden Admin) seem to be in the User's folder, but when my PC starts up, it automatically logs into a restricted Guest account. I've tried 'switching users', but it only shows the logged in Guest account.

It was already enabled before the SID change. As I said, I tried again for ****s and giggles but you need administrative elevation to do that, in which a guest account does not have.
