DDR2 PC2-6400 @ 800MHz whether in dual channel or not is still PC2-6400 regardless of the model number.

The model number of the ram is not important. Dual channel is better though when the ram sticks have the same number, but is not required. You will notice no significant difference with 4 sticks having different model/serial numbers- just as long as all sticks are DDR2 PC2-6400

Thnx rive.

I remembered something vaguely about the numbers having to be the same when dual channel ram first came out but couldn't put my finger on it.
