| vista home premium 32 bit | windows explorer (not responding) Hi all. When ever i try to delete a program or some file types off my computer, a popup comes on saying Windows explorer has stopped responding, and it closes all my windows and freezes my computer for a couple minutes. This has become very annoying as i am trying to clean up old files on my computer. Any help is greatly apreciated |

| Vista Home Premium 64 bit | Re: windows explorer (not responding) Try using browser with no add-ons. If freezing stops, then it is due to one or more add-ons , in which case you just have to manage them...disable the offending one/s. START > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > IE with no Add-ons. |

Hence, I am no longer on automatic schedule. Did you have recent updates that you can uninstall (you can always install them back) |
