VISTA Problems

No big surprise, huh? As both my father-in-law and I have the same issue I am assuming it is related to VISTA. Regardless of the version of Internet Explorer and regardless of whether or not you are working or playing, Windows keep opening causing you to stop and close them. They appear to be previously opened Windows but that is not conclusively as they might be blank or apparently unrelated. Whatever the case they are a nuisance and a problem and we would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

WHICH Windows keep opening? and more importantly, do you have anti-virus software installed?

Re: VISTA Problems

All kinds of Windows previously opened sites, a blank Window just a empty screen, a Window with information or a site for which we have no knowledge. We both have "Spybot" and "McAfee".

Re: VISTA Problems

This doesn't sound like Vista problems, this sounds like Malware problems. I'd do a extensive scan with your AV programs in Safe Mode and try Malwarebytes as well.

Malwarebytes.org

And MSRT.

Re: VISTA Problems

We had already done that and found another site which others claimed the same problem but their answer was to notify Microsoft. Do you have any suggestion about my Word issue? Thanks for replying.
