I did what you guys told me, tried double clicking on the vista dvd but said setup cannot continue on this version of os. i typed diskpart, then typed select j:\ (j:\ is my flash drive) then clean but said select disk and try again...did I do something wrong? | Vista Home Basic x64 | Re: Bootmgr is compressed Okay, so I we bought a brand new 8 gig flash drive, i formatted it and created a partition. I am in the process of copying the Vista DVD to the flash drive from command prompt...I hope it works! Thanks for your help everybody, even if STILL it doesn't work. |
