Vista restarting

everytime i turn on my computer it loads for like 30 seconds and then restarts. it started doing this after i restarted it once. any one know how to fix it? i had some trojans on my computer from a bad file download and i got avg antivirus and i thought that took care of it.

I believe your pc still has virus or the virus mess up something on you OS. It runs into problem loading window and shutdown or crashed; then auto restart.

I would suggest you get into safe mode by pressing F8 during starting and restore system to a restore point before problem occurred.

If you think it is clear of virus, you can disable auto restart and post error codes that shows in the blue screen after the crash.

However, as the malice nature of modern virus, I believe a reinstallation is unavoidable. Let's hope this is not the case.
