| Vista Home Premium 32bit | BSOD problems Hi all, I'm petty new to computer maintanance so I don't know how much help I can offer. Firstly when I got home from work today my computer would reach the black screen with the small loading bar and (c) Microsoft After about 5 minutes or so the system will go to the BSOD with either: BD_POOL_CALLER STOP: 0x000000c2 (0x00000007, 0x0000110B, 0x00000000, 0x899166E0) or: disk.sys PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA STOP: 0x00000050 (0xc766c4E, 0x00000000, 0x87BAF3FC, 0x00000002) My PC is a Pakard Bell iMedia (can't remember the make) I've attempted some fixes such as Using Last Known Good Configuration and running in Safe mode, but these also end up with one of the above problems. Like I've already said I know very little about this sort of thing. Any help will be much apreciated, I hope to hear from someone soon |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: BSOD problems Thanks for the reply lordbob, The only thing I can think of is I reinstalled a scanner/printer the night before, I was unable to find the install cd for it so downloade the driver direct from the manufacturers website, it worked ok for the rest of the night, but it wouldn't start the next morning. I haven't installed any new software for about a week so I can only think it's related to the scanner/printer. |
