| Windows 7 x64 build 7100 & Ubuntu 9.04 | Re: Moving icons When you mean move icons from the desktop, do you want them in the quicklaunch toolbar? Right click on the taskbar, and hover over toolbars, then select quicklaunch. This will appear on the right side next to the start button. From there, you can drag and drop to the toolbar from the desktop. ~Lordbob |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Yes, I want the icons on the taskbar on the bottom but not on the right hand side but the left. I tried what I think you are saying but it isn't working. Can you explain further. I have all these shortcut icons on my window and I want them on the left hand side of the bottom toolbar or taskbar whatever you call it. That is where I had them on my XP. They are still accesible, but down below where they are barely noticeable and not on the desktop I thought I had it, but now they are all gone. You know how you can get the double >> and you click on that and you scroll upwards and your programs are there? |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Moving icons Hello PattiChati, and welcome to Vista Forums. You should be able to move the desktop icons to the Quick Launch folder for that area on the taskbar. You can also change the Quick Launch icon size to small or large to help. If you like, you can also temporarily unlock the taskbar and drag it up one more line to have more of the icons showing on it. Hope this helps, Shawn |
