| Windows Vista Home Premium | Can't delete files I have Vista Home Premium. I took a course on it and learned a lot, but I can't figure out how to delete files. I click on the office button and punch in the thumbtacks, but it doesn't do anything. I'm stuck. Any suggestions appreciated. 4hal  |

| Windows 7 RTM 64-bit | Re: Can't delete files Hi 4hal, which files are you talking about? Generally, you can just right click on a file and click Delete to delete it. Or select the file that you want to delete and press the Delete button on the keyboard |

| Windows Vista Home Premium | Re: Can't delete files Hi Dinesh, It doesn't work on the Office's first drop down menu: "Recent Documents" but it did work when I clicked the "Open" tab, then followed your suggestions on the files listed there. Thank you very much.  On that first drop down menu where I cannot delete "Recent Files" there are thumbtacks. What are the thumbtacks for, do you know?  4hal |
